I’m all for pineapple pizza. Did you know pineapple pizza started in 1962 when this Greek-Canadian guy, Sam Panopoulos, tossed canned pineapple on a pizza ’cause he was bored and obsessed with sweet-and-sour Chinese takeout. The “Hawaiian” name? Literally just the brand of the pineapple cans he used! 💀 It basically blew up ’cause everyone was obsessed with tacky tiki bars and pretending they’re on vacation. mic drop
