I’m so freaking annoyed. I picked at this stupid spot between my eyes a few months ago, and now I’ve got a raised scar smack in the middle of my forehead. It’s not massive, but it’s right where everyone can bloody see it. It’s shaped weird, too—almost like a wart, but it’s definitely not. Ugh, I can’t stand it!

I’m wondering if this little bastard will eventually flatten out on its own or if I’m stuck looking like a hindu. Does anyone have a clue? I’ve heard some people say apple cider vinegar might help peel off the top layer of skin (sounds hardcore as hell, right?), but is it worth trying? Or will I just burn my forehead off and end up with a bigger problem?

Anyway, I need your thoughts: Do raised scars go away or am I doomed?

It can take anywhere from a few months to a year (or even more) for that scar tissue to ease, so don’t lose heart if it’s only been a few months. Our skin is always healing and remodeling itself, but it’s definitely a slow process.
